The Market of Glopac Car Engine Oil

One of the main reason I start this Glopac business is the market potential. Since car engine oil is the basic necessities for a car and there are so many cars on road. Can you imagine how potential of the car engine oil market?


According to Malaysian Automotive Association, total car registered from 1998 to 2007 is about 4 millions. Assume each car changes 4 times engine oil per year (mineral oil at RM 65). Estimation of the car engine oil market in Malaysia every year is about RM 1 billion.


Glopac is not going to cover all this RM 1 billion target market, Glopac’s goal is to occupy 5% of this target market which is RM 50 millions. By meeting this goal Glopac will achieve an IPO listing by 2011 year.


Do you think RM 50 millions is a big figure that difficult to achieve?


If we divide RM 50 millions by 13 states and 365 days, Glopac just need to sell 50 bottles of GB9000 or 100 bottles of GB7000 in one state everyday and we already achieve this goal. Don’t forget Glopac is a global business, Malaysia market is just a very beginning step.
